For more than seventy years, Rev. Dr. Amos C. Brown has lived at the intersection of faith and social justice. His life’s work spans organizing Mississippi’s first NAACP youth council at the age of fourteen, marching alongside Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and serving nearly fifty years as pastor of Third Baptist Church in San Francisco.
Throughout his ministry and public life, Rev. Brown has embodied moral courage, principled leadership, and an unwavering commitment to justice. As he prepared for retirement from the pulpit and a new chapter of community centered work, there was a need for a digital space that honored his past while supporting continued engagement with his mission.
