Niza Disla created Meraki Path Retreats as a sacred space for immersive healing experiences rooted in ancestral wisdom, reciprocity, and cultural reverence. When building her digital presence, it was essential that the platform honored the depth of the work and avoided the feeling of a trend-driven or commodified retreat brand.

THE LAUNCH Playbook

Born in the Bronx with Dominican, Mexican, and Puerto Rican ancestry, and carrying Mayan and Taíno lineage, Niza has spent her life bridging worlds. Her journey into retreat work was not a pivot but a calling shaped by lived experience, lineage, and long-term relationship building.

After a year-long solo backpacking journey connecting with Indigenous communities across the globe, Niza was called to the Ecuadorian Amazon in 2017. What began as a single journey evolved into a lifelong bond rooted in reciprocity, reverence, and shared responsibility. Meraki Path Retreats grew from that relationship, offering experiences that are deeply intentional, culturally grounded, and led with respect for the land and its people.

The Challenge:

Interest in Niza’s retreats was growing rapidly, but her systems had not caught up. Managing inquiries, applications, payments, and communications required hours of manual work for each retreat. Promotion lacked a centralized home, and there was no digital experience that clearly communicated the integrity, safety, and intention behind the work.
